A Valentine reunion, Cul an Ti, and special guests! Cul an Ti was formed and began performing in the Portland, Oregon area in the winter of 1995, quickly building a devoted following of fans at local Irish pubs who were drawn to their energetic performances and unique musical blend.

Throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, Cul an Ti established itself as one of the busiest and most successful traditional Irish bands on the West Coast, earning a reputation for bringing infectious energy and musicianship to stages and dance floors throughout the region.

After fiddle player Griff Ocker left the band in 1998, Cul an Ti continued with founding members Cary Novotny on guitar and vocals, Danny OHanlon on bass, percussion, and vocals, and new member Bob Soper on fiddle, guitar, and vocals. Johnny B. Connolly, a born button accordion player from Dublin, Ireland, became a frequent member in the lineup along with many other notable players who joined the band from time to time over the years, including Laurence Nugent, Dave Cory, Joe Trump, Maire Egan, Seamus Egan, and others.

Currently, Cul an Ti members Cary Novotny, Danny O'Hanlon, and Bob Soper are pursuing a variety of other solo and ensemble projects in Irish traditional music and other genres. Cul an Ti reunites for this concert after a long hiatus and promises to deliver their signature driving, spirited sound, which honors the roots of Irish traditional music while giving it a distinctly modern edge.

Also joining this reunion will be Brongaene (also known as Bronnie) Griffin. She is a highly talented fiddle player from Portland, Oregon. Her interest in Irish music began when she was a teenager. Already a very accomplished player of American Old Time and Bluegrass tunes, a chance meeting with Kevin Burke led to Bronnie becoming his fiddle student. And has grown to be one of the sought-after fiddlers in the area.
