Point Defiance Flower & Garden Festival - Youth Nature Walk

Join our Park Guides for a special ticketed Youth Nature Walk through the beautiful Native Plant Garden at Point Defiance. Designed for curious young explorers, this guided adventure introduces kids to the wonders of the Pacific Northwest’s native plants, local wildlife, and the important role they play in our ecosystem.
Along the way, participants will discover how native gardens support pollinators, learn fun plant facts, and engage in hands-on observation activities that encourage curiosity and connection to the natural world. This small-group experience offers a relaxed pace, interactive learning, and plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
Perfect for budding botanists and outdoor adventurers alike, this walk is a great way to deepen your festival experience while exploring one of Tacoma’s most treasured green spaces. Tickets are limited to ensure an engaging and personalized experience.
